07h00. Looking out of the hotel window at the light snow and rain that's falling. Judging by the state of our hotel room, our bags must have exploded last night. I've seen better kept refugee camps. Sims has taken über control of the duvet. The room is hot as hell but everything appears to have dried out. We are planning to leave at midday. Hopefully the weather will improve in the next 5 hours. I've programmed the satnav for The Silverton Inn in Exeter. 82 miles. A short trip but, in this weather, about 80 miles further than I would have liked.
Back to bed for a couple of hours....
